Returns & Exchanges Policy
At Selah Atelier, we want every order to be an experience you feel confident about. Because our products are hair extensions and beauty products, we maintain specific return and exchange guidelines to protect the quality, hygiene, and integrity of every product.
Please carefully review the following policy before placing your order.
General Policy
All approved returns and exchanges are eligible for store credit only, unless Selah Atelier sends the wrong item or an incorrect order.
Monetary refunds will only be issued when the error is the responsibility of Selah Atelier, such as receiving the wrong product.
Return & Exchange Eligibility
Return or exchange requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
To qualify, the product must:
- Be completely unused, unworn, unwashed, and unaltered
- Have all original tags attached
- Be returned in its original packaging
- Be free from odors, styling products, oils, sprays, or other products
- Show no signs of installation, cutting, coloring, bleaching, or manipulation
- Have all lace uncut and unaltered, when applicable
Products that do not meet these requirements may be denied and returned to the customer.
Return Process
To request a return or exchange, customers must contact Selah Atelier within 7 days of delivery.
Please include your order number and clear photos of the product and packaging when requested.
Once the request is reviewed and approved, Selah Atelier will provide return instructions.
After approval, the item must be shipped back within 5 days.
Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.
Store Credit
Once the returned product has been received and inspected, approved store credit will be issued for the eligible purchase amount.
Store credit may be used toward a future purchase on the Selah Atelier website and does not expire.
Store credit is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for approved returns or exchanges that are requested due to preference, ordering the wrong item, or selecting the wrong length or texture.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
If Selah Atelier sends the wrong item or an incorrect order, Selah Atelier will provide instructions for resolving the issue.
Incorrect or Damaged Items
If you receive an incorrect item, please contact Selah Atelier within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the product, shipping label, and packaging.
Once the issue has been verified, Selah Atelier will provide instructions for resolution, which may include a replacement or monetary refund.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange once used, altered, installed, or manipulated:
- Used, worn, washed, or altered hair
- Hair that has been cut, colored, bleached, or chemically processed
- Hair with styling products, oils, sprays, or odors
- Hair showing signs of installation
- Lace that has been cut or altered
- Tape-in extensions that have been opened, applied, cut, altered, or otherwise used
- Items missing original tags or packaging
- Final-sale or promotional items clearly identified as non-returnable at the time of purchase
Important Notice
Please inspect your order carefully upon delivery before cutting, coloring, washing, installing, or altering the hair.
Once a product has been used or altered, it is no longer eligible for return or exchange.
